Manchester United had a disappointing evening after points were shared between the two sides at Old Trafford. United came into this fixture with advantage of making to champions league spot with two games remaining. De Gea error gave Chelsea a lifeline to earn a point at theater of dreams and finishing the weekend fourth having two points advantage over Arsenal and three points over Manchester United.

Manchester United started the game at a positive note with Juan Mata providing early lead to the home side (11). But Mata’s goal was canceled just before half time when De Gea wasn’t able to deal with the long range shot from Antonia Rudiger and spilling the ball onto the path of Alonso, defender made De Gea pay for his mistake and scored a narrow finish.

Both side came close in second half to score the winning goal in stoppage time. Marcus Rojo made a strong header but was cleared by Pedro on the line. on to the other side De Gea denied Gonzalo Higuain.

Chelsea looks strong in holding the fourth place with 68 points and two games to play,they are 2 points behind third place Tottenham, 2 points ahead of Arsenal and 3 points ahead of 6th place Manchester United.
